Appearances: TWUC

Quick note that I’ll be hosting this TWUC member-exclusive webinar next week, Wednesday March 13 at 2pm EST / 11am PST. It’s a Zoom event, and you can find all the details right here: https://www.writersunion.ca/webinars/getting-that-grant-2024

Do you know what makes a strong grant application? Are there common application faux pas? Join representatives from the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) as they lead a session on grant writing and find out what assessors are looking for, and what makes an application stand out. Bushra Junaid, Outreach and Development Manager, will be presenting the Skills and Career Development: Indigenous Arts Professionals and Arts Professionals of Colour Grant, and Sue Carter, Literature Officer, will provide information on Literature Grants. Author Dianah Smith will also be sharing insights and tips on receiving OAC funding and developing your career. Hosted by author Regan McDonell, this webinar runs approximately 75 minutes, including a Q&A period. TWUC members will have access to a recording of the webinar for 30 days.
